I am a political scientist specializing in environmental politics, particularly climate, biodiversity, and sustainable development governance. My research interests center around the role of civil society and technology in environmental politics. My regional focus is East Asia and Europe.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University since January 2024. I am carrying out a BECC research project on global climate and biodiversity governance. Interdisciplinarity is at the core of my project, which addresses civil society's engagement in sustainable development, youth's discourse network in climate politics, and artificial intelligence discussion in international environmental negotiations.
I received my PhD from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, with a dissertation that explored how discourses on technology, development and the environment shape environmental policies in South Korea and Germany in the face of climate change. **A book based on my dissertation was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2022**. Before joining Lund University, I was a post-doc researcher at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles in Belgium and investigated youth actors in international environmental politics.
